A 5-day Marrakech to Casablanca trip is a colorful and diverse trip that takes you through some of Morocco's most fabled cities and landscapes. Starting in Casablanca, you can visit the legendary Hassan II Mosque before moving on to the country's capital, Rabat, to see such historical sites as the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. The trip finishes off with a visit to Chefchaouen, the legendary "Blue City," where you'll stroll through the charming medina. On day two, spend the morning in Chefchaouen and then proceed to Fes, Morocco's oldest imperial city.
Day three takes you driving through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains—via Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest—to Merzouga, where you camel ride into the Sahara Desert and camp overnight under the stars in a Berber camp. The fourth morning arrives with the dawn of the desert, followed by a visit to Todra Gorge and Dades Valley or Ouarzazate, which have ancient kasbahs and film studios. On the final day, stop at the UNESCO World Heritage destination Ait Benhaddou and then drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to the vibrant city of Marrakech, where the tour concludes in the midst of the vibrant life of Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
