Next, explore the historical and cultural highlights of Rabat – the capital of Morocco, including the Hassan Tower, the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the majestic Royal Palace (visiting the exterior only). At the end of the day, head off to one of the oldest imperial cities of Morocco – Fes, for an overnight stay in a traditional riad or a cozy hotel.

Today will be a cultural highlight as you visit the city of Fes with its many attractions and landmarks in an unforgettable full-day guided tour. Explore Fes el-Bali – one of the biggest medieval medinas that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the landmarks to see are Al Quaraouiyine University (said to be the oldest university in the world), the gorgeous and ornate Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous and authentic Chouara Tannery. See how leather is processed here the same way as it was centuries ago. Don't miss out on the visits to the many artisan districts of Fes el-Bali and take photos of your amazing views of the ancient city, including Fes el-Jdid and Royal Palace gates. Spend the night in a traditional riad.

Today is the beginning of a unique Sahara Desert adventure, as after breakfast, you set off on your Sahara tour, starting from the middle of the magnificent Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the alpine-style city of Ifrane, nicknamed the "Switzerland of Morocco," and stop near the cedar forests of Azrou to see Barbary apes. Have your lunch in the picturesque mountain town of Midelt before continuing the trip through the Ziz Valley, filled with oases and palm groves. Arrive at Merzouga for your exciting camel trekking tour into the Sahara Desert and spend the rest of the evening camping among the golden sands of Erg Chebbi dunes.

Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by a camel ride or 4x4 transfer back to Merzouga for breakfast. Continue your journey to Rissani, a historic town known for its authentic local market (optional visit), before driving through desert landscapes and Berber villages. Arrive at the dramatic Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural canyons, where towering cliffs create a stunning setting for a walk. Later, head to the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers” and picturesque mountain views. Overnight stay in a guesthouse or hotel in Dades Valley.

After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Valley of Roses, known for its seasonal rose harvest and local products. Continue to Skoura Oasis, where you may visit the historic Kasbah Amridil (optional). Arrive in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa”, where many international films and series have been shot (optional visit to film studios). Then explore the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous ksars, featured in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Spend the night in a hotel or traditional guesthouse near Ait Ben Haddou.

After breakfast, continue your Morocco desert tour to Marrakech by crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Along the way, stop at Berber villages and scenic viewpoints to experience local life and capture incredible photos. Arrive in Marrakech, the vibrant “Red City,” in the afternoon or early evening.
