Travel through the dramatic Todra Gorges and Dades Valley, then explore the cinematic landscapes of Ouarzazate and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains and complete your journey in the enchanting city of Marrakech, where history, architecture, and colorfully vibrant souks await.

6-DAY Tour Itinerary: cacablanca to marrakech

       The first day of your Morocco tour starts with a welcome arrival at either the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. Start with a visit to the world-famous Hassan II Mosque, situated on the banks of the Atlantic Ocean and one of the world's largest mosques. Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and discover the main historical landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the stunning Hassan Tower, and the unique Mausoleum of Mohammed V. In the evening, travel to the city of Fez, where you check-in to your riad or hotel for an overnight stay.

      Take a guided tour of Fez, Morocco's religious and spiritual heart and its cultural capital. Explore the ancient Medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest car-free cities in the world. Discover the historical monuments, including Al Quaraouiyine University, regarded as the world's oldest university, the magnificent and beautifully-decorated Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Chouara Tanneries famous for its traditional dyeing of leather. Roam the bustling souks of Fez filled with local crafts and traditional Moroccan products while witnessing masterpieces of the local craftsmanship at workshops. Return back to your riad/hotel after spending a memorable day in Morocco.

        Start the morning by setting off from Fez to Merzouga via the middle Atlas range and the Sahara desert. Your first stop will be the Swiss-like town of Ifrane, known for its alpine architecture, followed by a short stop at Azrou to see the Barbery macaques in the local cedar forests. Enjoy lunch in the picturesque town of Midelt, surrounded by mountains, and proceed further to the beautiful and colorful Ziz valley, a home to many palm trees. Upon your arrival at Merzouga, get ready to spend some exciting time at the Sahara Desert with a camel ride through the desert sand, culminating in watching the sun going down from the top of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy the dinner in the Sahara camp, accompanied by a typical Moroccan atmosphere of Berber music and starry nights.

      the Rise early to watch a beautiful sunrise on Sahara dunes and enjoy breakfast at the camp. Take an optional 4x4 trip through the desert or have a look at the local market of Rissani which is an interesting place of visit. Start the way to impressive Todra Gorges which offer visitors incredible views and challenge climbers who are eager to test their skills. After the sightseeing of the gorges, continue to drive through the fascinating landscapes of the Dades Valley which offers unique rock formations, roads, and old kasbahs. Finally, reach your destination of today, a cozy guest house in the area.

      This day you will spend in the Valley of Roses and Skoura Oasis, famous for its palm groves and old kasbahs. Next, reach the "Hollywood of Morocco" - Ouarzazate. The Taourirt Kasbah is located there and tourists may take a city tour or visit the famous film studios. Continue to the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou, a wonderful village that serves as a setting for numerous productions. Have a walk and then go on to pass High Atlas Mountains across the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. In the evening, finally arrive in Marrakech.

      Your last tour day starts in Marrakech, where you will visit Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and admire the exterior of the city's largest mosque, Koutoubia. Don't forget to see the UNESCO World Heritage site of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, famous for its entertainers, vendors, and souk (market). Also, take the chance to visit the Majorelle Garden, owned by Yves Saint Laurent, and explore it. In the evening, you'll have the chance to buy something in the colorful Marrakech souks.
