Day Trip To Ouzzoud Make unforgettable memories Ouzzoud Overview Location The Ouzoud Waterfalls are located near the village of Tanaghmeilt, in the Azilal Province of central Morocco, approximately 150 km northeast of Marrakech. Key Features The 110-meter Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest in North Africa, are fed by the El-Abid River. They were so called because they are named after a Berber term meaning "olive," which refers to the profusion of olive trees around the falls. Getting There From Marrakech, it's a 2.5 to 3-hour drive by car or bus. Many tourists book day trips or guided tours from Marrakech.
